THINK GLOBAL, ACT LOCAL

The theme of this year's Global Health Symposium is "Think Global, Act Local." The symposium aims to cover current topics in global health as well as local engagement opportunities. We are honored to have experts in their fields, students, and visionaries to not only share their experiences but also collaborate and engage with future leaders in global health.

The "Think Global" portion of the symposium will focus on the broader perspective of global health, current issues in the field, professionals/experts, and initiatives in those areas. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussion, ask questions, and interact with our speakers. We are honored to present Dr. Audrey Chapman and Ye Jin Kang to share their perspectives and expertise in this year's symposium.

The "Act Local" portion aims to discuss the local and individual opportunities to engage in global health. The field is vast and at times it can be daunting to consider the starting point to integrating global health into your life and career. "Act Local" aims to engage current student leaders and open discourse surrounding medical mission trips, volun-tourism, and other relevant issues related to global health involvement at the individual level.
